Waiting is hard

It's Joe writing again. No pictures this time, just some news.
My grandfather Beckley had another stroke & is not doing well.
My mom said when he found out it was another stroke, he indicated to her that he was ready to go. He wants to go to be with my grandma, who died suddenly 14 years ago.

Mom also said she is confident that he is right with God. Praise God that we can have assurance of salvation! That is comforting, but does not take away all of the grief.

My prayers have been that he would be comfortable & at peace with God, and also that God would comfort my mom & the rest of my family.

We haven't really made much progress on Nathan's big boy room recently. We started taping, but did not get very far because we are also making grape juice. They finally picked our grapes & we gleaned.

We also were supposed to have our "barn" taken down (it's really an old garage) on Tuesday. They brought the machine in, drove it through the yard, then loaded it back on the truck & left.

I think they decided the ground was too soft, but the guy hasn't called me to tell me that. So now there's a pair of huge crawler tracks through the yard, but the condemned structure is still there. Hopefully it will go away when the ground freezes.

That's all for now. Gwen is hoping to post more in the near future.
