Gwen & I like the band Sanctus Real. We’ve practically worn out their “Fight the Tide” CD. On Facebook today, I was on their page and saw that they were near Pittsburgh last Thursday. It would have been cool to go see them, but that was the day before Isabella’s surgery.
Anyway, I just happened to click on one of their blogs: http://bowensheart.com. Turns out their lead singer Matt Hammitt and his wife Sarah are expecting a son (Bowen), and he has been diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), the same thing Isabella has.
My heart goes out to them, and I pray that God will provide them with the kind of love and support from family and friends that He has provided us.
