We got up this morning, got ready for church, and started down the road, only to come to a roadblock: they were running the Pittsburgh marathon. We tried to go a couple of blocks in each direction, but there were still tents, runners, and roadblocks.
Joe had heard that they were running the marathon today, but didn't think it would be a problem.
So we came back to the room and watched a church service online. It was The Chapel at CrossPoint in Buffalo, NY (www.thechapel.com). Our friend Sue McNulty-Atwater goes there and told Gwen about their streaming video and Gwen watched a couple of times while she was in the hospital. Thanks, Sue!
Who knew that our attempt to go to church would be thwarted by a bunch of runners?
